What are Halogen Free PCBs?

The based material of halogen free PCBs are free of Halogen. The dielectric constant, dissipation factor and moisture diffusivity of based material "Halogen Free" would be different with the traditional based material of the PCB. It without poisonous gas if burning.

Applications

Products required "Halogen Free" for environmental concerns, but is not the only choice, usually ROSH HASL or ENIG is enough.
